GNR C1 4-4-2 No E2877 with the 1.54pm Nottingham Victoria-Chesterfield slow leaving Bulwell Common on 23 July 1949. The first vehicle is a 60 year old former MS&L 6 wheeled brake third now in parcels service with its door handles removed from most compartments, either it has been stripped out internally or the doors are just locked closed.
