LNER class A1 Pacific No 2546 Donovan at the approach to Rickmansworth with the 3.20pm Marylebone to Manchester Central express in 1938.

It was unusual in running to Manchester Central not London Road. This was the only regular service to bring a Gresley Pacific or V2 to Manchester Central and then as far as we are aware only in 1938/9.
