2568 1925 Edinburgh Portobello Junction

LNER A1 Pacific No 2568, (un-named) and fitted with a Westinghouse pump, passes Portobello, Edinburgh with an up fish train in autumn 1925.
The 6 wheeled fish vans (first and fourth in the train) are of NBR design and were very similar to their Yeast vans but with additional ventilation. The LMS open with 'cupboard doors' is of Caley parentage and is interesting as the M is painted straggling both doors - if painted in England it would have been offset to the left.
