Great Western Railway Dean 'Aberdare' class 2-6-0 No. 2676. Built at Swindon in Nov. 1902 and withdrawn in Sept. 1946. The double-frames of William Dean's 'Aberdare' 2-6-0s reveal that they were a product of a Victorian era design. 2676 is sitting in the evening sun at Oxford MPD in October 1936, the crewman seems unable to decide if he wants to be photographed or not!
