What are the cameramen at Bromsgrove on 7th April 1963 waiting for - surely not a common or garden �Peak�, or perhaps they have just visited the shed. A later built member of what will become �Class 45� has just descended the hill with a train from the north east to the south west. The first box of its headcode panel is broken and has a number �4� pasted on, the reporting number should presumably be 1V39. Note the LMS Hawkeye running-in board painted in Western Region brown and cream colours and the signalbox set low on the platform to allow the signalmen to view the line up the incline under the bridge.
