D83 1961-05-14 Stapleford & Sandiacre station
In front of No.D83 on 14th May 1961 is the famous spotters embankment, overlooking Toton Old & New Bank sidings. Toton MPD is hidden behind the hut. By this date the 'Peaks' were well on the way to taking over the Midland Main Line.
