With an up express, six month old BR 'Class 45' 1-Co-Co-1 diesel No. D72 leans into the curve as it speeds through Wellingborough Midland Road Station in May 1961. D72 was built at Crewe in November 1960 and withdrawn in September 1984 as TOPS No. 45050.
