1479 1920s Peterborough North
A fine study from here at the London side of Peterborough North with its " Bowstring " bridge above , and three enginemen of the period all anxious to be recorded on film in this photograph from the early 1920's .
The engine , clearly newly constructed and built in 1923 , although not yet named here, is clearly 1479 ,which , if my research is correct later became " Robert the Devil " , renumbered by British Railways as 60110 .
