Racing along. Up express just south of Claypole and approaching Westborough signalbox. The GNR erected a signal box in the 1870s between Claypole and Hougham stations where the railway ran between the villages of Dry Doddington and Stubton. Instead of naming the signal box after one of those villages, it chose to name the box after Westborough Lodge a little nearer the line.
