We owe so much to those photographers of years long past for their valiant efforts carrying their massive plate glass cameras , complete with tripods and various other pieces of equipment, who produced such outstanding pictures such as this with Gresley's 2545 " Diamond Jubilee " , the fifteenth of his original class of " Pacifics " seen here when just two years old and turned out in the manner of those days.
Pictured here in 1926 , four years after the former Great Northern Railway had become part of the L.N.E.R. , " Diamond Jubilee " , buit in 1924 , was the third of that batch of her class of twenty built at Doncaster , later becoming 60046 in subsequent British Railways ownership.
