LNER V2 2-6-2 No 60941 (officially taken out of service w/e 6th July 1964 and initially stored at Tweedmouth shed), hauling three withdrawn V2s recorded as including 6083x (assumed to be 60833) and 60945 passing Ruddington en-route to Swindon on 14 September 1964.
This is interesting as 60833 has been reported as observed at Swindon on 6/9/64, a week before this photo, in addition there are only four V2s recorded in WHTS as en-route to Swindon on 14th September 1964, the three being hauled therefore must be 60945, 60945 and 60856. All movements to Swindon of the 15 memebers of the class scrapped there were routed via Annesley, the majority coming from York shed.
