Rebuilt Merchant Navy 35006 Peninsular & Oriental SN Co at Yeovil shed. Withdrawal for this locomotive came just 4 months later in August 1964. Far more intresting than the MN is the LSWR outside framed van in departmental service which was the stores van that travelled between the loco shed and Eastleigh Works, as also twas he van next to it, bringing most things that the shed needed such as new fire irons, headlamps, uniforms, oil, firing shovels, and spare parts for locomotives including springs, bricks for brick arches etc and a myriad of items for the depot.
