In service with no tender lettering and awaiting her naming ceremony with the nameplate concealed by a purpose made wooden cover. She was completed in December 1948 and the naming ceremony was not until 24th of April 1950 at Southampton Docks. It would be fascinating to know if she ran like this all the time from completion to the ceremony.
