SR King Arthur 4-6-0 No E772 Sir Percivale waits to depart from Waterloo with the 2.30pm Bournemouth express on October 23, 1926. This was the first engine in the UK to be fitted with full-size smoke deflector plates similar to those fitted to the Prussian P10 2-8-2s (DRG 39).
