The train is approaching the junction at Greetland on the line from Dryclough Junction and is probably bound for Huddersfield and the Penistone line. Greetland station is just out of sight to the right of the picture, the 3F tank is in the headhunt for the permenant way yard, and the Calder Valley main line can just be glimpsed in the bottom left of the picture.
