Highland Railway Drummond 'Castle' class 4-6-0 No. 140 'Taymouth Castle'. Built by Dubs & Co. of Glasgow in June 1900 and withdrawn in August 1939 as LMS No. 14675.

A terrific period scene at Inverness MPD circa 1901. In addition to 'Taymouth Castle', on the left is a Jones 'Big Goods' 4-6-0 No. 106 and on the right a Jones 'Duke' class 4-4-0 'No. 62. This engine probably holds the record for the most re-named British locomotive. 'Perthshire' from new in 1874, 'Stemster' from 1889, 'Huntingtower' from 1899 (as seen here) and finally 'Ault Wharrie from 1903 until withdrawal in 1908. Beat that!
