Just frames and wheelsof 4053 are left within "C" Shop where so many of the GWR's finest ended their days under the cutters' torches, especially the larger and tender locomotives , the smaller ones being disposed of out in the "dump" with its rows of condemned locomotives all awaiting the same fate. 4053 Princess Alexandra was built at Swindon in June 1914, and was condemned in July 1954.
