The lamps show an Ordinary Passenger train despite the reporting number W 64. The coaches are fascinating, the first seven-compartment all Third appears to have end lavatories and long grab handles and is of G&SWR origin. Next is an early LMS period I vehicle then there appears to be a LYR all 3rd coach with ironclad bogies then more LMS standard vehicles, there is no guards accomodation except in the full brake towards the rear, this is then followed by a string of parcels vans and what appears to be horseboxes.

It could be a race special or even a military train but not running under express headlamps.
