45515 on a Milk Train is in the 1946 LMS black livery with maroon bands edged in white. The numerals are of the short-lived 1948 BLOCK style applied by BR LMR until late 1948. The 'LMS' insignia on the tender have been replaced by a BLOCK style 'BRITISH RAILWAYS', it would retain this livery, which was applied after nationalisation in April 1948, until its next HG in May 1951 when the BR green livery was applied
