Rebuilt ‘Patriot’ No.45527 Southport at Rugby Midland north end passing the AEI factory on 3rd August 1963. The rebuilt ‘Patriot’ was allocated to Willesden for three months in the summer of that year before moving to Carlisle where it would see out its days until withdrawn at the end of 1964.
