Ex-Midland Railway lines diverge at the attractive Dore & Totley station on the western edge of Sheffield. In the 1950s, ex-LMS Fowler '4P Compound' 41187 is taking the lines west via the Hope Valley towards Manchester. The other route seen on the right heads south towards Chesterfield and beyond.
