‘Compound’ 4-4-0 No.41194 on a Leicester to Birmingham local in late-1952 or early 1953 at Water Orton. It had been transferred to Bournville from Southport in October 1952 and was withdrawn from there in 1957. Once again, there is a goods train in the Down lie-by, but since 1949 the wooden buffer stop had been replaced by a rail-built version, probably due to an accident.
