The pioneer Hymek No.D7000 in the winter sunshine at Bristol Bath Road in the late 1960s. The original carefully styled and balanced two-tone livery has been destroyed by the yellow paint recently daubed over the cab front and around the side windows. No.D7000 did not originally have roof mounted horns but these were subsequently fitted. Paul Hamley notes D7000 was built with black painted valances, whereas other members of the class had them painted the same light green as the bodyside stripe. It looks like D7000 retained the black valances, although it could possibly be dirt Paul is correct - I am sure it is not dirt.
