BSC 55 ex D9507 1970s Corby

BSC 55 ex D9507 1970s Corby

No D9507 was withdrawn from Hull Dairycoates at the end of March 1968 and stayed there until November of that year when it was sold to Stewart & Lloyds Corby becoming their No.35. It was renumbered as No.55 in October 1974 and is outside Gretton Brook shed which housed the locomotives working on the iron ore mineral trains. It worked at Corby until the end of 1980 when the steelworks closed.
