SR WC 4-6-2 possibly No 34084 on the up 'Golden Arrow' passing Folkestone Central in 1949.

Steven Branford says "I tentatively suggest that the identity is 34084. Bradley in "Locomotives of the Southern Railway" RCTS p.73 and 75 says that this loco was on the Arrow frequently in 1949. The website 'railway-photography.smugmug' has a photo of 34084 on 9 July 1949 with dents in the casing similar to those in your photo (unlike photos of 34083 or 34085 which I have seen)".
