On 2 & 16 December 1962 the RCTS & SLS ran the "South Western Suburban Railtour" using 30587 & 30585. The loco is seen here in the goods yard nearest Wimbledon "C" signal box. 31796 alongside was provided solely for the purpose of supplying coal to the Beattie tanks during the one hour servicing break.
The loco was withdrawn immediately after the 16 December railtour. Now owned by the National Railway Museum it is on loan to Bodmin & Wenford Railway.
