On selected days during the week of 13th . February , 2017 enthusiasts were able to enjoy the rare sight of 30587 shown here working on the Buckfastleigh to Totnes line of the South Devon Railway in company with another locomotive both of which were associated with their former duties in Cornwall on china clay workings , namely 1369 .
30587 , in company with her two sisters , namely 30585 and 30586 , had been replaced from their many years service on the Wenford china clay duties in the summer of 1962 by 1367 , 1368 and 1369 so the bringing together of 30587 and 1369 at Buckfastleigh for that week would have revived memories of fifty years past down in the Duchy of Cornwall.
