Battle of Britain class 4-6-2 No 34090 Sir Eustace Missenden, Southern Railway approaches Canterbury 'B' Junction on the spur line with the diverted 9.05am Victoria to Ramsgate train on 26th April 1953. It is about to join the former SER line from Ashford while the former LCDR line that was blocked by flood damage can be seen on the bridge to the left.
