34091 1955-08-04 Dover Marine Station
Southern Railway designed Bulleid 'West Country' class 4-6-2 no. 34091 'Weymouth'. Built at Brighton in Sept. 1949 and withdrawn in Sept. 1964. The 'Golden Arrow' express with its superb insignia was one of the steam era's most iconic sights. 34091 proves the point as it leaves Dover Marine Station (later renamed Dover Western Docks) in August 1955.
