It looks as if the fire brigade have had an oil bath fire to put out! She caught fire between Hamble Halt and Netley, working 0940 Brighton- Bournemouth West on 22 May 1961. After fire brigade had extinguished fire, the train was hauled forwards to Netley by 76019. The loco was removed into a siding and 76019 worked the train to Bournemouth West.



34057 was repaired at Eastleigh Works.
