A Waterloo-Basingstoke train passes through Raynes Park in March 1967 behind WC No 34093 once named ‘Saunton’. The smokebox numberplate is a painted replacement. Built in October 1949. this engine was rebuilt in May 1960 and withdrawn in July 1967 -a career of less than 18 years.
