John Clements says this is definitely Basford North c. 1957. With steel panelled twin set (possibly D310?) and D246 6-compartment brake third. Probably a Pinxton train, it would have come round the spur down from Bagthorpe Junction. At the extreme right of the picture above the road can be seen the junction somersault signal, the right dolly being for the bay platform. 'Basford & Bulwell' station only became 'Basford North' on 21/9/53

This must be between Jan ’57 and June ’60 during the loco’s tenure at Colwick.
