David J Hayes comments Depending on what day the picture was taken, 8M68 was either the 11:30 SO service from Scunthorpe to Bescot Up Yard (suspended 10/7/71) or the 13:11 SSuX service from Scunthorpe to Wolverhampton Steel Terminal. The service was amended in 1975 to terminate at Brierley Hill Steel Terminal and was also then booked to call at Wednesbury for traffic purposes.
