Former Crosti 9F 2-10-0 No 92024 climbs Beattock with a Shap Quarry to Glasgow limestone train in 1964.
Peter Kerslake says "92024 was one of ten 2-10-0s incorporating Italian designed Franco-Crosti boilers and built in 1955. The experiment was not successful and over a three year period from September of 1959 all ten were eventually convertedto conventional operation."
