Former Crosti 9F 2-10-0 No.92023 on 22nd November 1961 at Irthlingborough Road with a Class D partly fitted freight. The crew are having a chat with two men, one of whom seems rather too smartly dressed to be hanging around on the track. The engine had just been converted to conventional operation, leaving Crewe Works with a standard boiler on 27th September 1961.
