BR Riddles 'Standard 9F' class 2-10-0 No. 92019. Built at Crewe in October 1954 and withdrawn in June 1967. Fireman and renowned photographer Jim Carter's captured his coal train depating westbound from Jackson's Sidings near Tyldesley in 1965. On the right is St. George's Colliery used only for ventilation of other nearby pits by this time and St. George's Church, Tyldesley is on the skyline.
