With reporting number 314 covering the number. I think it is off 15A Wellingborough, if so it is one of their six loco's whose running number ends in '4'. A week before this image was taken, on 1st of August 1959 a Westhouses 9F operated a Bristol to Bradford passenger relief, so 9F's from the LMR did operate in the Bristol area. It is a shame that the cabside number on this image is not clearer. Vic Smith adds another clue, Train ID for 314 in 1959 was the 0810 Newport Paignton which ran via Bristol, Saturdays Only, 20 June to 29 August. (1959-08-06 was a Thursday!)
