BR class 9F 2-10-0 No 92164 heads south the Redhall Tunnel past the field on the right where Ratcliffe on Soar power station now stands with an up class '4' express freight on May 10, 1958. Construction of the power station started in 1963 and it was opened in 1968; at its peak it burnt about two thirds of the output from the South Nottinghamshire coalfield. This is location is now the site of East Midlands Parkway station.
