About to enter Eastleigh Yard, Itchen Navigation bridge parapet bottom left. Note L&SWR signals with finials. Taken by Jim Carter on his well publicised day out to Southampton on 25 May 1965. Don't know why it was on Southern metals at that time (it was allocated to Westhouses) but it was also photographed on a goods train at Basingstoke 24 September 1965. Note that there are two cuts of Esso tanks in the rake so not cripples from Fawley
