92134 1963-10-13 Hasland
Destined to be the sole single chimney fitted example of her class making it into preservation , 92134 had been withdrawn from Birkenhead in December of 1966 after just nine years in service but happily was saved from Woodhams at Barry in December of 1980 . During its relatively short working life 92134 had seen service on freight duties working throughout the Midlands from its home at Saltley but its longest period of time was spent at Wellingborough , working the Toton to Brent coal rosters in addition to appearing on the main line into St.Pancras on long distance freight duties. Following its being rescued from Barry 92134 initially went to the North Yorkshire Railway before going to Crewe Heritage Centre, and then the East lancashire Railway at Bury. In April 2018 itm has now moved back to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway for completion of restoration. It is expected to be back in steam in April 2019.
