The distinctive adjacent Power Station and an ex-works locomotive could only mean that this was a photograph taken at Darlington MPD. Doncaster's BR Riddles '9F' 2-10-0 No. 92198 has received a first class paint job following overhaul in April 1962 and is awaiting a return trip to South Yorkshire. It was built at Swindon in October 1958 and had a shamefully early withdrawal in August 1964 after less than six years of service.
