BR 9F 2-10-0 No 92220 Evening Star inside Cardiff Canton shed on 28 April 1962.

Peter Kerslake says "The Summer of 1962 was to see 92220 on loan to Bath Green Park depot to help with that final year of services on the Somerset and Dorset, including taking the last "Pines Express" down to Bournemouth and back on Saturday, the 8th. September 1962.
Its home here at Canton closed on the 13th. September 1962 whilst it was away at Bath so "Evening Star", in company with many of the rest of Canton's allocation were moved over to Cardiff East Dock but 92220 suffered damage from a minor collision whilst at its new home in early 1965, was withdrawn from service and languished at Severn Tunnel Junction depot before being restored to its former glory at Crewe in 1967. "
