An usual view from the window of a coach, the photographer Terry Gregg recalls'I took the shot from a V2 hauled special heading for Edinburgh then on to Leuchars Junction for an Air Training Corps annual camp at RAF Leuchars. I don't remember where the V2 came on but it was still on when we crossed the Forth Bridge. We travelled (from Matlock in Derbyshire) outbound via the East Coast mainline and back a week later via the Waverley route. VI/V3s were a rarity for me so I risked the poor light under the vast roof - I'm glad I did. For those with an interest in aviation, Leuchars operated Lightnings (74 Squadron) and Javelin all weather fighters at the time. Happy days indeed!"
