67638 1960c Eaglescliffe

LNER V3 2-6-2T No 67638 on ECS approaching in c1960. It was allocated to Hull Dairycoates at the time and the bhracket signal appears to be of GNR origin on LNER posts so may well be an early grouping addition to this NER location.
The train is about to enter Eaglescliffe station with Eaglescliffe North signal box roof above third coach. Probably a running-in turn from Darlington Works.
The bridge gave access from Witham Avenue to Witham Hall (left) & Quarry. The Quarry had its own tramway and used the exchange sidings seen on left.
