Darlington MPD was always a pleasure to visit, particularly when an ex-works locomotive was on shed waiting to return 'home', usually after a local running-in turn. Ex-LNER Gresley 'V1' 67674 will have a long journey back to (65E) Kipps MPD in Glasgow! This photo is dated July 1953.
