GCR A5 4-6-2T No 69801 with a Nottingham Victoria train waiting to leave Pinxton on 2 June 1954. The unusual platform arrangement here was caused by the close proximity of the MR line and the GNR mineral line crossing over to the collieries of the area (seen in the distance on the over bridge) which truncated the existing GNR line.
