69814 1959-04-12 New England
This part of New England was a light and airy shed. 69814 was from 34F Grantham and was about to be rather surprisingly re-allocated to Kings Cross (for a very short period), note that she is undergoing maintainance and her centre drivers are removed.Den Sullivan recalls that during the 50s 69814 was a Neasden (34E) engine. Other A5s were 69827 and 69829. They were always used on the 11.20 Princes Risboro first stop West Ruislip, for some strange reason!
