GCR A5 4-6-2T No 69828 has set forward and reversed the stock into the departure platform and the guard is climbing down at Shirebrook North on 27 August 1955. At this time these two former LD&ECR platforms were used as a terminus for the Lincoln trains, the line to Chesterfield having been closed.
