No 2502, one of the Stanier 3-cylinder 2-6-4Ts at Derby in July 1938. The entire class was withdrawn in 1961/2 with no less than 27 of the 37 locomotives built, (including 42502) going in June 1962, to keep the accountants happy. What a waste!
