On tanks a long way from its home depot of Stratford.
David J. Hayes adds "The inclusion of barrier wagons and a brake-van on the rear does imply that the TTA tank wagons seen in this image are indeed used for conveying dangerous loads, and are still deemed as dangerous even when discharged due to traces of chemicals/vapours still contained within the tanks. I believe this working may actually be 6F52, the 16:51 MThO Air-Braked Company train from Langley Green to Ellesmere Port, which was booked through Stafford at roughly 6pm. The service conveyed discharged chlorine tanks from Albright & Wilson. Shame it's not a Class 40 up front, although a silver roof Brush Type 4 does make for a novel sight on this working!"
